    Projektdetaljer

    Beskrivelse

The goal of the project is to answer the question of how to align the business and IT sides of a company in order to generate process flexibility and drive process innovation. Ultimately, the objective is to improve the operations of large, multinational companies struggling to evolve their Supply Chain operations at the same pace as the market conditions.

The project is an industrial PhD project with a strong affiliation to one of the largest and most successful Denmark-based multinational companies. Methodologically it is organized to support the mediation between the theoretical and the practical side both, in terms of collecting data and applying results.

The project is carried out as action research at one of the largest Danish companies and takes issues related to IT operations and their impact on the company as its focal point. It aims at creating a set of methods, guidelines and frameworks allowing companies for a better understanding of their processes and the ways to rethink them in order to facilitate process innovation through the use of ICT.
