Becoming politically aware - a study of the development of political awareness among diverse Scandinavian secondary school students.

Developments of modernity, reflexivity and new media have engendered new learning environments, all of which have changed the political environment and options for participation. Despite significant research progress we lack a deeper understanding of the sources, the mechanisms and the developments involved when young people become political aware.
