Caring for the future: childcare in China

The project looks into the newest development within public childcare in China, with a primary focus on implementation of national goals in local institutions. The project aims to generate broad knowledge about implementation of reforms in China, local-central relations as well as China's development towards a more universalized welfare system. The project furthermore wish to examine the urban-rural differences within childcare and diverse innovative projects taken up by the local authorities in order to further increase accessibility and affordability of public childcare.
