SDC PhD Project
Lægmandssprog
The project will examine the rise of technological innovation capabilities in China in the green technology field and assess the role of China in global markets for such technology. The rise of China in green technology will have major ramifications for the global effort to mitigate climate change as well as for the competitive dynamics of low carbon industries. Much will depend on the direction of innovation in established and emerging ‘lead markets’ – and the global division of labour which will emerge as a result. Hence the project insights will be relevant to public policy makers in the climate change arena as well as managers in the business sector.
