Development of Future Oriented Logistics Concepts

CIP project group: Professor John Johansen, Associate Professor Peter Lindgren Center contract participants: Research institutions under CLT: Technical University of Denmark,University of Southern Denmark, Copenhagen Business School, Aarhus Business School, Roskilde University Center, Institute for Transport Studies (Padborg), Aalborg University. The Danish Technological Institute heads up this Center contract. Case companies: Four Danish firms with specific logistics responsibilities. Project duration: 2000 ? 2004 Innovative logistics concepts are needed if companies are to address tomorrow's logistics needs. This multifaceted project, a CLT venture, aims to develop and analyse logistics concept development tools and procedures. Information tech-nology, collaborative work structures and organisational development are all key concerns.
