Beskrivelse

Dexa device consists of 4 tubular floats rigidly connected in pairs; those are capable of autonomous moves by the attacking waves. The force generated can both compress and expand the hydraulic cylinder, allowing for double stroke power take-off. From the amplitude of movement it is possible to calculate the amount of pressurized hydraulic fluid that will travel through the motor, thus the average power production.



Aalborg University will carry laboratory tests to identify mooring forces, the motion of the device, to optimize the geometry and eventually evaluate the power production.
