    Projektdetaljer

    Beskrivelse

The purpose of the project is 1) to discover the technological and organizational possibilities and professional needs related to working in virtual organizations and networks concerned with product development and production, 2) to identify "Best Practice Models" for collaboration methods and procedures. Also relevant to the project is "Best Practice" for using Information Technology in distributed product development and production in networks. The latter covers knowledge transfer from international partners and experts in the field, including the automotive industry and 3) to establish a Danish network with focus on distributed collaboration. Among other activities this network will contribute to the analyses and dissemination of future developments in the area in mention. In addition, the project will also seek to establish the basis for new projects in the field, i.e. European projects and/or national "Center-contracts". These initiatives will have a substantial element of development and experimentation. Danish companies will contribute by conducting future oriented development cases aimed at uncovering relevant problems and possibilities as well as real solutions to selected problems.
