Beskrivelse

KHE holds a directorship for all EMT R&D activities 2000-2001. EMT is in the market for commercial utilization of several electro-magnetic effects related to a world patent (1998). The primary activity in this period concerned scientific and sales/promotion support for industrial proto-type implementations of EMT's technology for EMF-induced wall friction reduction of ducted flow in hydro-electricity turbine inlet pipelines. Activities concern both fundamental physical and electro-chemical studies at Vilnius University, Lithuania as well as extensive practical verification studies, conducted on EMT's own rig at HIT/TF, Porsgrunn. The project also include organisation of studies regarding application of 2.nd generation EMT effects w.r.t. anti-fouling in industrial heat exchangers. EMT has been a co-sponsor of ACACSRG's build-up of laboratory facilities etc. (Kim H.
