Beskrivelse

Elektrisk design og styring. Simuleringsplatform til modellering, optimering og design af vindmøller (Electrical design and Control. A Simulation platform to model, optimise and design wind turbines) The project is a research collaboration between Risø National Laboratory/VEA and Aalborg University, Institute of Energy Technology. The project will run in the time period 2001-2003. The overall goals in the project are - Develop an extended simulation platform with special focus on simulating the electrical parts in wind turbines. - Develop models which may be used in mechanical/aeroelastical design tools like HAWC and FLEX 4/5. - Develop models, which in a longer term may be used in a complete optimisation of a wind turbine system. A wind turbine simulation toolbox in Matlab/Simulink is developed and can be used for simulation of single wind turbines but also windfarms. The project is sponsored by the Danish Energy Agency.
