Evaluation of GAPS (Recycling of Administrative Patient Data to measure Health Professional Quality)

The project was supported by the Danish PWT Foundation: Investments in Public Welfare Technology (ABT-fonden).



The basis for GAPS is that many quality data is recorded in the patient administrative systems, which transmit data to the National Patient Record System (Landspatient registrerings system (LPR)) and various existing central registers and IT systems. The project's main objective was to demonstrate the potential of laborsaving achieved by re-using the data for quality monitoring, reducing the registration burden of the health professional staff.
