Harbourscapes Aalborg Harbourscapes Aalborg is an action research project related to different new discourses related to the future redevelopment of Danish harbours, the link between city and the water front, the architectural quality and the public access to the harbour front. In August 2005 a large workshop including three master classes will take place as a starting point for the project. This will take its starting point in Aalborg and the aim is to develop and evaluate different approaches towards a sustainable redevelopment of the relation between city and the harbour. The research will evaluate the design proposals, the public awareness of the values of the harbour front developments and the political process these proposals will generate in the political arena.
