    IMS-NOE, Special Interest Group on Supply Chain Integration (SIG9)

    The SIG9 focuses on the current issues in Supply Chain Integration such as Internet-based integration technologies, Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, Supplier and Customer Relationship Management and Product Lifecycle Management. The SIG considers the many dimensions of Supply Chain Integration, including Technology issues, Behavioural issues, and Trade-off issues.

    In 2006, SIG9 has arranged a workshop in relation to the IFIP conference in Poland and published 4 papers in the book "Advanced Manufacturing" related to the IMS projects.

    The SIG has 3 main partners: Aalborg University; University of Limerick, Ireland; George Mason University, USA.
