A Norden Top-Level Research Initiative to investigate the extent to which interdisciplinary research can contribute to a better understanding of climate change adaptation within the urban context. A series of network workshops, conferences, and Ph.D. courses will drawn upon experiences from 8 case cities in the Nordic region: Oslo, Bergen, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsinki, and Tampere. The project aims to investigate different theoretical and methodological combinations and contribution from the natural, social, and technical sciences to provide a better understanding of urban climate change adaptation.
