LFGG is a network of 15 researchers from Italy, England, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. It was funded in October 2001 by the Leverhulme Trust, UK, with a total budget of 1 Mio DKK, and is planned to last for three years. The mission of the network is to develop algorithms and methods to solve complex identification prob-lems involving ?genetic fingerprints? based on the measuring of DNA profiles. Project manager is Professor A.P. Dawid, University College, London, UK.
