    OPEN NEW FOOD is a LEONARDO Project of Transference of Innovation. The main objective of the Open New Food is to increase the awareness and competences of the managers of the Traditional Food Industries SMEs, about Collaborative Food Product Development in order to boost the“integrated value chain model” of food production, through the cooperation of transnational partners. This will increase greatly the optimization of the whole process and therefore the development of products that fit better with the target groups requirements.

    The Food Associations of the Consortium will develop National Open Innovation Units, stable teams in charge of the Project’s results sustainability through the time.

    Every tool and content will be developed in the partners languages, that is: Spanish, English, Turkish, Czech, Danish, French and Flemish, multiplying the impact of the Project through the transference.

    The project has a duration of 24 months, from 1/10/2013 to 30/09/2013 and it is funded by the European Commission through the LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME 2013.
