Beskrivelse

China is leader in new capacity investment, hydropower capacity, solar hot water/heat capacity and wind power capacity (REN, 2012). As one of the renewable resources, biomass didn’t development as fast as the other renewables. In world energy mix in 2006, renewable energy took account for 13% of total energy mix and among them 77% is from bioenergy (Delft.2010). In 2008, biomass and waste accounted for around 1% of world energy demand, 4,2% in OECD countries and 9.5% in China energy demand. But in the modern biomass utilization, China is much lower than the OECD countries. In Electricity generation production, biomass and waste’s shares are 1.9% in the world, 3.1% in OECD countries but only took around 0.1% in China. In transportation energy consumption, Biofuel took account for around 2% in world, 4.3% in in OECD countries, but it also took 0.6% in China.
The approach of this project is divided into two steps: potential biomass resource identification and potential bioenergy supply analysis
