The primary objectives of this project are...
1. to generate an understanding of different meanings of tourism through the exploration of tourism as symbolic consumption, i.e. identity constructing.
2. to generate an understanding of the best-ager segment's different travel experiences and careers and using these to generate knowledge of tourism as meaningful consumption
