What does creativity and social networks mean to entrepreneurship?
This study explores two facets that many consider to be crucial for entrepreneurship - individual creativity and social network. The study finds that creative individuals have a higher probability of establishing a business if they are located in urban areas. Creativity, however, does not influence the chances of survival. Survival is dependent on other factors. Furthermore, the social network is important for start-ups in both urban and rural areas.
