Abstract

Creating a more effective and reflective industry and delivering benefits to public and private asset owners ranks high on the agenda of many policy-makers, industry professionals and academics within the real estate, housing, building and infrastructure design, construction and asset management sectors. This ambition points to the need for a better understanding and management of the creation, accumulation and application of knowledge across the various actors and domains of the built environment as well as across the life-cycle of constructed assets.
