Abstract
To tell stories and listening to stories is a part of our lives. The narrative form of knowing is the primary form by which human experience is made meaningful and is communicated. This article illustrates how the narrative approach can be used to study good moments in psychotherapy. What characterizes thes moments? Psychotherapists' narratives about good moments were analysed according to three aspects; namely self-representation, sense morale of story and the power of persuation. It is suggested that these three aspects form the point of the narrativ, which makes it worth telling. Two examples are given to illustrate a way of analysing narratives.
