Abstract

Authors of the paper have several years of experience with flipping parts of the courses, and the whole courses. Crucial for successful flipping the class are well-chosen exercises that students need to do before the class, as a confirmation that they come prepared for in-class exercises, and exercises for in-class work. However, the quality of videos that students have to watch before coming to the class is also important. In this paper, we will describe videos prepared for flipped classroom using light board, an invention from 2014. That allows natural flow of presentation, as it combines the best of chalkboard lessons and Power-point slides - the students can always see the presenter in the background, and the teacher can freely choose between writing important parts of the lesson in natural speed, or using Power point or similar diagrams for complicated figures. Students' reactions and comparisons with other style videos will be also presented.
