  • Sergey Tsiulin (Lecturer)

Activity: Talks and presentationsTalks and presentations in private or public companies

Description

The purpose of the presentation is to examine the relevance of business case provided by WWF regarding bison population tracking. The goal was how to combine data into one multi-integrated system visible to stakeholders and create a community for better tourism experience. Our solution is focused on blockchain technology. We found that such system can positively affect cost reduction, information flow and flexibility in redirecting manpower within the region. Also, it can influence economy of the local region (within the case of WWF, South-East province of Romania), boosting up local business and engaging farmers into the system as well as research institutions and local authorities. A business model was presented at the workshop, showing solutions both from business and technical perspectives.
