Activity: Participation in conference/workshop/course/seminarOrganisation and participation in conference

Michael Mullins - Speaker, 9 Nov 2011

The project „Healing Architecture as a keynote of foreign health economics“ - led by the Department for Design of Hospitals and Healthcare Buildings (TU Berlin) and supported by the Federal Ministry of Health - will give new impulses in the architecture of health care facilities. „Healing Architecture“ is based on the recognition that the architecture of health care facilities acts as a central factor in the process of recovery and nursing care.
The aim of the conference is to shed light on the various aspects of this approach by an international panel of experts - from an architectural point of view, as well as from a medical, economic and political perspective. Results of the meeting will be included in a report published in March 2012 about the current state of knowledge of the topic „Healing Architecture“.
