There is an increased demand for interconnectivity in food and nutrition science and thee is a call for more open and permanent access to research data. The development seems to be driven by the digital wave. The presentation will evolve around this new paradigm for food, nutrition & health research area and give a brief overview of significant cases and ongoing research infrastructure initiatives. The presentation is founded on the insights from case studies of European behavioural food labs carried out as a part of the Richfields study.
