Description

Diet-related non-communicable chronic diseases such as NCDs e.g., obesity, cardiovascular diseases etc as well as unsustainable food practices is a societal challenge. This requires new cross disciplinary solutions. The digital growth, the upcoming of new smart sensors and the internet age seems to be offering new opportunities in the interphase between ‘digital’ and ‘food’. This lecture takes as the point of departure the dVices4food project, the Big Food Data and the Richfields design study that is carried out at FoodScape Lab studies at AAU CPH. It will be addressing the following topics. Realtime dietary assessment technologies and ICT - assisted foodchoice data acquisition. New sensations and experiences of virtual & augmented food-reality technologies. Smart Exposure Response Technologies, Internet of food Things as well as smart foodscape mapping technologies.
