CHEFF Research Group (Chemical Fluid Flow Processes)
Organisation profile
Head of research group
The Chemical Fluid Flow Processes research group (CHEFF) works on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis of the flow processes which are relevant for the chemical process industry and the oil-and gas industry. This includes development of methods, models and computer software as well as experimental verification (EFD) using laser based techniques.
Research topics
Chemical Reactors
- CFD and EFD of Gas-Liquid and Gas-Solid multiphase flows.
Process Equipment
- CFD and EFD of flows in Process Equipment.
Combustion Hazards
- CFD of Gas Explosions, and Gas Dispersion.
