FIELDS OF ACTIVITY

The task of the department is to undertake teaching and research within the fields of politics, administration and social economy.

TEACHING

The staff of the department teaches in the following degree programmes: economics (for the MA degree), administration (MA degree in administration), social science and special fields in sociological investigation.

RESEARCH

The department's research is organized within seven research groups and centres:
* Center for Labour Market Research (CARMA)
* Center for Comparative Welfare Studies (CCWS)
* Democracy and Citizenship in Transformation (DEMOS)
* Organization and Administration
* Voter Research and Political Opinion Formation
* Economic Theory
* Ecological Agriculture.
