Organisation profile

Land Management and Geoinformatics is a wide-ranging research group working with problems related to surveying, mapping, geographic information systems, property law, land management and spatial planning.

Multidisciplinary research

The majority of the research is based on multidisciplinary issues related to the core areas of the research group. This calls for both a specialized and multidisciplinary research approach that often involves cooperation across the core areas of the group.

Research areas

The Land Management and Geoinformatics research group is organized into five research areas:

  • Land Administration and Cadastre
  • Surveying and Mapping
  • Planning and Property Law
  • Spatial Planning
  • Spatial Data Infrastructure.

Further, the research group is cooperating with the research center Danish Center for Spatial Planning that is working with physical planning in a broader perspective.
