The research group Communication and Culture in Professional Contexts (ProKom) is committed to application-oriented research within professional communication in English, Spanish and German, in the following fields:

Market Communication, e.g. sustainability, CSR, image and identity, PR

Organisational Communication, e.g. stakeholder communication, dialogue via social media

Management Communication, e.g. gender, career and culture

Legal Communication, e.g. text comprehension, layman/specialist communication

The research group uncovers discourses and discursive practices, investigates linguistic, communicative and cultural organisational issues and studies organisational change processes through cooperation and observation with relevant partners.
