Research profile

As an anthropologist (MA) working on cross-disciplinary marine and coastal governance research projects, my primary research interests are: i) the governance and societal adaptation to change in the Arctic and in Greenland in particular. ii) the politics of sustainability in marine governance. iii) empowerment and inclusion of coastal communities in transition processes. vi) bridging the gaps between scientific and local ecological knowledge. v) climate and biodiversity change impacts and adaptation in fisheries.
