Research profile
My research theme is smart diagnostics based on cardio acoustics and mechanics. The thought behind is that increased demand for health care will require more diagnostics at points of care, not only in specialized hospital departments. This requires easy-to-use sensors in combination with intelligent software to assist interpretation and presentation of the results.
Current technologies of interest includes Phonocardiography, Seismocardiography, Cardiac CT and Echocardiography.
