Personal profile

Research profile

I am an associate professor of mediated communication and I study the food culture and media use of everyday life and thus all of the intersections between media and food in a mediatized and digitalized society. My background is Media Studies and Media Sociology, and to a great extend I do empirical research, studying everyday life practices in relation to media and food. Furthermore, I am interested in ethical consumption, aesthetics, gender and the green transition.

Teaching profile

I teach at the Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Digital Media, the Master’s degree in Communication, Media Studies as a minor subject as well as optional subjects at Psychology and Sociology. My teaching reflects my empirical research as I teach qualitative methods and my interest in media and food including ethical consumption, everyday life and sustainability.
