The expected outcome of this project is a fully validated and technically mature LT PEM combined heat and power system (CHP) with an electrical efficiency of minimum 30% and a combined efficiency above 90%. The system will run on natural gas and will have a life-time in excess of 30000 hours.

This system will, after a product development phase following this project, be ready for commercial sales already in 2013. This is a reduction of the time to commercial market introduction for "made in Denmark" CHP systems of 2-3 years.

Not only will the environment benefit from an accelerated development/depolyment of CHP systems but eventually also a large Danish supplier base.
