Project Details

Description

In January 2010, the Working Group “EMF and Environment” started its activities at the Scientific Institute for Infrastructure and Communication Services (WIK) in Bad Honnef, Germany. The group continues the communication work of the Forschungsgemeinschaft Funk, that was closed by the end of 2009 and is backed by the Geman Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Core tasks are the monitoring of the national and international EMF research and debate as well as information, communication and network activities. After the initial phase of consolidation and establishment of its range of information services in German language, the group now has launched its English website and the first issue of its weekly news bulletin, the “EMF Brief”. The EMF Brief keeps you up to date with research that is relevant to the public debate on the effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) on human health and the environment. The publication is available free of charge, and you can subscribe to it in the service section of the group´s website. The English website is online at:
