Project Details

Description

This research is part of the design if FET of walking in hemiplegic individuals. The main research is the development of the Windows based software and the interface for programming of a neural prosthesis (electronic stimulator). The future software should be supported with a PDA technology, and it has to allow selection of the interface that is most appropriate for the given groups of users. The software had to include the support fro the evidence based medicine. The main modeling contribution in the new software will be an improved control algorithm for assisting walking with a multi channel electronic stimulation. This model will specifically address the minimal sensory input and overcome the possible sensory failures. This part of the project should be aggregated with the efforts of UNA Consulting, Belgrade.
