Project Details
Description
The main goal of the project is the development of a high efficiency Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) strategy, as well as a software anti-islanding method for REFU Elektronik’s new Photovoltaic inverter, REFUSOL.
The main requirement from the MPPT is to maximise the energy yield of the PV system in all conditions, including fast moving clouds typical to Northern Europe. The developed MPPT algorithm has been successfully tested and implemented in the commercial REFUSOL inverter.
