Description
The Hybrid Systems Group at Aalborg University is focused on studying discrete and switched dynamical systems. The activities within the group can roughly be divided into three different groups:
1. Modelling and theoretical aspects of switched dynamical systems. This subgroups is focusing on the mathematical foundation of hyrid systems and on how this can form a basis for generalising some of the general results from classical control theory into hybrid systems.
2. Control of hybrid systems.
3. Space Applications. The common denominator for this group is control of spacecraft. One of the main interest areas within this group is formation flying of satellites, covering aspects from hybrid observers to hybrid control.
