The basic objective of this project is to find new solutions for low power drives. It is aimed at designing a new drive system, which should have better performance and lower cost than the existing drive system solutions. Generally, this new drive system is required to be ·         Cheap ·         High efficient ·         Robust ·         Low acoustical noise The main focuses of this project are laid on design of new high performance motors and design of a converter system suitable for the developed motor, with proper control technologies.
