Description

Emotions are key in assessing user experiences of interactive digital technologies. There is a need to study such experiences during real usage situations, i.e. outside confined lab settings. The fluctuating nature of emotions makes it challenging to assess such experiences. The aim of this project is to develop and validate a method suitable for collecting data on emotional experiences during actual usage in natural settings, but also measuring experiences in real time. This method is based on smart wearables with integrated physiological sensors to detect e.g. electrodermal activity, heart rate etc.
