Description
The distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) fine structure is presumably caused by constructive and destructive interference of two or multiple sources on the basilar membrane. Different techniques can be used to isolate the contribution from one source of the basilar membrane. Using these techniques, the DPOAE fine structure can be eliminated, and DPOAE may be improved as a clinical tool. In this study a technique will be developed to separate the distortion and the reflection component of the existing DPOAE data.
