Description

TestNet

Test of software is a bottleneck in most companies for the completion and maintenance of IT-based products. This is partly because the necessary methods and tools have not been identified and sufficiently developed by the research community. Close collaboration between the specific problems experienced by industry and the researchers working on the issues is an important element in the continued development of the necessary technology and improved competitiveness. The work conducted by the network is a mix of experience-sharing, workshops, seminars and invited lectures. The network addresses developers and project-managers that deals with software test as a substantial activity. Keywords for the network are test-specification, test design techniques, test realization, system and unit-test, test automation and test tools. The starting point is to a wide extent specific industrial problems and solutions that are suitable for discussion in an experience-sharing network. The project is supported by the Danish national programme “forskerkontakten” with 460.000 DKK.
