    1) To establish a research team from India and Denmark which will explore the explanatory value of a non-traditional and heterodox approach to the study of India’s foreign policy? The aim is to apply a critical, interdisciplinary framework to examine the impediments and obstacles related to culture and ethnicity in the interplay between international norms, rules, regulations and practices and domestic epistemic communities, institutions and actors impacting the evolution of foreign policy in India.
