Colon emptying in colostomy patients using electrical stimulation

The objective is to develop a stimulation method that can induce peristalsis-like colon contractions. This could be used to empty the colon in patients with a colostomy. The project includes both animal experiments and clinical studies. Partners in this project are Aalborg University and Coloplast.
