Abstract

This paper presents the wind farm simulation modeldeveloped in the EU-FP7 project, AEOLUS. Theidea is to provide a publicly available simulationpackage for researchers developing farm level controlsolutions. With the software it is possible toauto generate a wind farm simulation model in Matlab/Simulink based on turbine parameters and farmgeometry. The input to the farm simulator is powerset points of individual turbines. Outputs from thefarm simulation are power production, nacelle windspeed and fatigue loads (damage equivalent loads)of each turbine.
