Abstract

This paper aims to encourage a dynamic scholarly conversation about de-internationalization with the aim to further the progress of IB research, making a number of contributions.

The paper delineates the domain of scholarly research on de-internationalization by developing a typology of de-internationalization. The paper also addresses the issues related to de-internationalization mode change, discusses the way de-internationalization decisions are made, and addresses methodological concerns.
