Abstract
The concept of reality is analysed as a relation between actor and world, which enables the actor to function, i.e. act. By analysing the conditions for action, reality emerges as an integration of four aspects, the factal, possibility, value and communication with respect to the modi of time. Flaws in the integration creates problems and break down of reality. This concept of reality forms the basis of the idea of scientific validity.
