    Abstract

    This SBI Direction provides guidelines for the design and construction of ordinary small buildings up to two storeys in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the Danish Building Regulations for Small Buildings, 1998. This direction concerns thermal and acoustical insulation, moisture protection, fire proctection, wet rooms, indoor climate, and strength and stability. Examples are given of constructions that meet the requirements of the Building Regulations for Small Buildings. The direction has been prepared for the use of designers and contractors in the building sector and for the Danish building authorities.
