Abstract

This paper investigates the switching mechanism of a two-dimensional switched system, when the switching events are generated by a Poisson point process.
A model, in the shape of a stochastic process, for such a system is derived and the distribution of the trajectory's position is developed together with marginal density functions for the coordinate functions. Furthermore, the joint probability distribution is given explicitly.
