Speaker: PhD Student, Søren Risdal Borg, Dept. of Architecture, Design & Media Technology, [email protected] Abstract: Located on the brink of the city, we find a landscape, predominantly defined by sites of industrial activity, supplying urban life. This BB seminar reports on narratives of change which inform a sustainable transition of the urban industrial port-scape of Aalborg east. These narratives are revealed as Port of Aalborg initiated a process to unfold the future flourishing, viability and increased presence of (what i term) the urban industrial port-scape of Aalborg East. Here, stories reveal how actors perceive these sites, as well as contested trajectories for the material layout of the future industrial port-scape.
