The objective of the mini-conference is to exchange in-depth knowledge on what shapes local acceptance of renewable energy technologies. The focus is on controversy and change as the normal basic social attribute for the potential change in modern societies, and how innovation in project planning as well as public policy measures can support a sustainable transition towards a fossil independent energy system.
